Stepless Grind Adjustment
The DF64 has a “stepless” adjustment dial, allowing for an infinite number of settings between the highest and lowest settings on the grinder. This allows for ultimate precision when fine-tuning the grind size for a given coffee or brew method.
IMPORTANT: Always adjust the DF64’s adjustment dial WHILE the burrs are spinning and the grinder is ON. Failure to do so can create clogging/jamming issues. Also, always pump the bellows firmly at the end of each grind session WHILE the grinder is still ON. This will keep the grind chamber clean and prevent a build-up of coffee oils.
New & Improved Declumper
Since the original DF64 was introduced, there have been a variety of declumpers designed by both the manufacturer and third-parties. While other retailers ship the grinder with a two-piece declumper installed, we don’t think this design works well with some grind sizes. Version 4 of our DF64 is built with a single piece, thinner silicon declumper.
NOTE: For those that want to try the two-piece declumper, all units from the preorder shipment will also include the two-piece declumper in the box (not installed).

- Tilted cup holder (optional), an alternative to a dosing collar that pushes the cup closer to the grind exit chute, preventing grounds from flying out when bellows is pumped
DF64 Variations
There are several variations of the DF64 grinder, including the DF64P, DF64E, and DF64S. The original DF64 is designed for all types of coffees and brew methods, including espresso. The DF64P and DF64E are espresso-only grinders designed for users wanting to fine-tune espresso as much as possible. And the DF64S is a variable-speed grinder being introduced late 2022.
